They say its a 360. But I can recognize that exhaust note anywhere(that and the rear end), that is the 355! The best modern Ferrari! EDIT: I are stupid it is a 360. I swear I have a good reason confusing the two cars exhaust...

I'm not so sure. My ears aren't tuned to distinguish between Ferrari V8s, but from what we can see, it sure looks like a 360 to me.
On the second point, though, F355's are awesome.

Came here to distinguish the difference, I see the deed has already been taken care of!

I feel like I may be blind but I can for sure say that looks like a 355. I mean on the 360 look how far inset the lights are compared to the 355. Also the 355 has a little lip spoiler that you can see in the video.

Nevermind, I think you might be right. It doesn't sound quite like the V8 in the 355, and it does look like a 360. Just to save myself from embarrassment, I would like to point out the place I was listening to this in was quite loud

I'm not 100% sure I'm right, but I'm fairly certain. You're right about the 360's being somewhat inset, they definitely have a deeper opening. I think the depth just isn't very visible due to the camera angle. However, the opening flare on the video car is quite wide, about as wide as the red "ring" of the light. The 355's opening isn't much bigger than the light, and it has a tiny flare:
Under the 355's lip is a nearly full-width black perforated trim, which the video's car doesn't have. Also take a look at the pics in my other post, where the 355's hatch openings are in relation to the lights, they're in-line with the inner light's outer edges. The 360's opening is well inside the lights, as is the video car's, seen in the top left of the vid.

No I am pretty sure you are right. The lights are a bit more inset, and the engine hood opening is in a different place. Besides the reasons you stated, the exhaust note isn't quite 355. It is starting to get that characteristic raspyness that the latter V8s have. The 355 is more of a clean howl. I swear I listened to this video in a loud place...I have to hide my embarrassment somehow

Hey, we all mistake a car for one of its siblings at some point! People still have trouble identifying which Carreras are which, generally with older models.

It's alright, being able to tell the difference between not only engines in general but Ferrari V8s is not really required to be a car guy. A Countach once drove by me as I was walking into Best Buy and I couldn't see it coming, but I could hear it. I didn't know what it was, but I knew it was special. Then it came into view and my jaw dropped.
